Wyld's map of extends northwards from the Mediterranean (including Cyprus and Crete) as far as Vienna thus depicting Dalmatia, Bosnia, Croatia, Herzegovina, Servia, Albania, Roumania, Bulgaria, Moldavia, Moravia, the Empire of Austria, parts of Poland, Russia and Asia Minor. Original colour is used to outline the different territories while mountain ranges are also clearly depicted. Wyld's style is clear and concise. An extensive mileage scale is given in the lower left corner of the map and the railways thus far completed provide an intersting addition to this later edition of the map. The title cartouche at lower right provides a stark contrast between the cherubic figures at its foot and the instruments of war above.
