A detailed and decorative map of the Baltic state of Mecklenberg. The map bears the ducal arms at upper left while the title appears in a decorative cartouche at upper right. This is a Latin text edition of the map with attractive, original outline colour. The map is oriented with north to the top of the page and extends from Lubeck in the west to Damgard in the east. Wismar and Rostock are highlighted as the map's major, coastal towns. A good example of Blaeu's consummate care and attention to detail - finely and carefully drawn and engraved,
