12mo. Engraved Tp, Tp, pp.[v], pp.488, ff.[1] (Tp), ff.[1], xxxxiii, ff.[i], Tp, pp.[i] salutation, 30 copperplate engraved single-page maps ,each with a facing page of descriptive text. The first edition of a scarce miniature atlas. Bucelin's text, published by globemaker Johann Praetorius, has been augmented by the addition of a section of 30 miniature maps with facing descriptive text. Maps comprise an interesting selection including each continent (for America see Burden, "The Mapping of North America" 329), Ireland, Crete, Malta, Palestine, China, Japan and South East Asia. Contemporary vellum binding with lower spine cracked.
