This small and attractive map shows Arabia, and the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf with adjacent coastlines. Major cities and towns are named including Mecca, Mocha and Aden in Arabia, and Cairo and Jeruslem outside the Arabian peninsula. Arabia is also divided into regions on this map, here highlighted with later hand colour, and was published in "Naukeurige Versameling Der Gedenk-Waardigste Ze En Land-Reysen Na Oost En West-Indien". According to Tibbets in "Arabia In Early Maps" this map is
based on a sinusoidal projection (showing relative sizes more accurately, but distorting shape), thus Arabia's shape appears distorted.
