A large and detailed map of the county of Herefordshire that was published in Emanuel Bowen and Thomas Kitchin's "Large English Atlas". This example has the imprint of John Bowles, Carrington Bowles and Robert Sayer in the lower margin. The map's detailed geography is augmented with textual descriptions of the county's history and features of note. This information is pictorially enhanced in the map's title cartouche at upper right where the county's produce and agricultural fecundity are illustrated.
