Blaeu's engraving of the Balearics and Ibiza shows the islands and the adjacent Spanish coastline from Gandia to Barcelona - a fine map from the "Golden Age of Dutch cartography". The major towns are depicted on the islands along with physical detail, while in the surrounding Mediterranean waters classical triremes (used chiefly as war ships), sailing ships and sea creatures are depicted. Latin text to the verso and attractive bright original colour.
