A finely engraved map showing Turkey and Cyprus that was first published in John Tallis' "Illustrated Atlas". The map is decorated with vignette views of Olympus, Rhodes, figures in traditional dress, and a sailing boat. The illustrations were drawn by H.Warren and were engraved by J.H.Kernot. The map itself was drawn and engraved by John Rapkin and this example has the imprint of the publisher, "John Tallis & Company". Accompanied by a page of descriptive text.
