A striking example of Covens & Mortier's re-issue of Phillipe De La Rue's map of Turkey and Cyprus. The map was originally issued in De La Rue's "La Terre Saint En Six Cartes Geographiques", published in Paris by Pierre Mariette in 1651. Repaired tear at lower centrefold and at right, extending into the printed area to Militene.
