Ruscelli's Ptolemaic map of Turkey was published in "La Geografia Di Claudio Tolomeo Alessandrino ..." after Gastaldi - this being from the 1564 edition. Using Ptolemy's coordinates, Ruscelli's map shows a wide Bosphorus. Small wormholes at the upper centrefold.
