A charming and most unusual 'birds-eye' map showing a pictorial depiction of the whole county. The effect is that of a pastoral scene with place-names superimposed onto the middleground. In the foreground, an angler fishes the River Avon. Laid on archival backing, nevertheless an attractive example of a scarce item. The map was published in "The British Monarchy Or A New Chorographical Description Of All The Dominions Subject To The King Of Great Britain. Comprehending The British Isles, The American Colonies ...".
