From Camden's "Britannia" with maps by William Kip and William Hole
(although this example is unsugned), this map of Anglesey is based on
Christopher Saxton's surveying work that was first published in atlas form in 1579. A title cartouche appears above the island whilst below a mileage scale and compass rose are depicted. Saxton's name and the plate number (45) also appear.
