Braun & Hogenberg's map of the Belgian city of Brussels. A numbered key identifies more than fifty places and buildings of note within the walls of the city. In the lower right corner the map's Latin title is enclosed in an architectural surround. Attractively coloured. The map shows considerable pictorial evidence of the city's reliance on the waterways for trade and commerce - numerous ships are shown entering the city and moored within it.
