The map includes vignettes of native wildlife including a dingo, a view of Adelaide, and "Natives on a Catamaran". Major mining districts are marked by red dots. The tracks of European expeditions into the area are shown, and geographical notes have been made on the country such as "Sandy plains" or "Remarkable Cone".
