A good impression of Jansson's rarely seen map of Norway, oriented with north to the left and showing the country south from Steegen. With a decorative title cartouche in the lower left corner showing woodsmen at work and a mileage scale in the upper right corner, this is a particularly decorative map. Slight offsetting of rhumb lines apparent in the North Sea. Latin text to verso. The map appeared as an added map in editions of the "Novus Atlas" and is, as such, the first folio map dedicated to the country.
