This detailed nineteenth-century atlas is offered here in its German edition. The pages are formed of royal genealogical tables, passages of descriptive text and maps to include Europe, Germany, France and the British Isles amongst others. The information extends to include civil events, laws of the land and historical occasions. The maps are finely engraved and
clearly printed, while attracive hand colour accentuates detail. Folio. ff.[i] tp, ff.[i] half-title, ff.[i], 35 letterpress double-pages
(some with maps), ff.[ii]. Quarter calf and stiff paper covers,
somewhat worn with hinges and joints broken. Some water staining to the covers.
