A scarce and finely engraved map of the Hudson River and environs between Albany and Lake Champlain, published in the pocket sized periodical the "Scots Magazine" at the time of the French and Indian Wars. The map's title explains the significance of this particular area ... "The Country ... being the Great Pass from the English to the French Settlements ...", ie the main line of communication between New York and Canada. One small wormhole repaired.
