The town of Bethune in Artois from and edition of Georg Braun and Frans Hogenberg's monumental town atlas, the "Civitates Orbis Terrarum", with Latin text to the verso. The town is shown from the south with the activities of rural life tking place in the foreground with the walled town beyond. The map's source was one Quentin van der Gracht. Splits to lower and upper centrefold, just touching the printed area. Some paper creasing.
