Seemingly an Italian pirated edition of De L'Isle's map of northern Greece. This detailed map of Greece gives classical placenames and includes major overland routes of travel. The map's size differs slightly from that usually found on the French map and De L'Isle's name is shown here in an Italianised form suggesting that this example was produced, perhaps in Rome, using the original French map as a guide. This edition is not listed in Zacharakis' "A Catalogue Of Printed Maps Of Greece 1477-1800".
