With north oriented to the right of the page, this English published sea-chart showns the Irish coast from Dublin to Londondery at a relatively large scale. Coastal towns are named and sounding depths in nayigable harbours are given. Across the Irish Sea a little detail of the Mull of 'Cantyre' and the Mull of Galloway are shown. As this is a sea-chart with no inland detail shown, the Irish mainland is filled with an inset map of "Lough Foyle Or The Passage To London-Derry" - all contianed within a foliate border. This inset map allows for careful navigation of the Lough with sand banks and sounding depths carefully depicted. An attractive item with a practical basis.
