Although he is most important as one of the co-authors of the "Large English Atlas" of county maps, the maps which accompanied his "New And Complete System Of Geography" (as here) and those prepared for "John Harris's Navigantium - A Complete Collection Of Travels" embody a distinctive and appealing style with figured, rococo cartouches and vignette views. This map of Central America includes an inset of the Gallapagos Islands and a vignette with a distressing image of European supremacy, nevertheless a fascinating insight.
