A relatively scarce titlepage from Giovanni Antonio Magini's edition of Ptolemy's "Geographia" that was printed by Petrus Keschedt. The work was printed in Italian with a new set of plates. The titlepage positions the text in a central oval which is surrounded by allegories of the four continents and is flanked on either side by a figure on a plinth - one holding a celestial globe and one a terrestrial. Not in "Courtiers And Cannibals".
