A four page publication of the "Journal De La Belgique" from February 16th 1815 with a miniature Leo Belgicus map of the Low Countries in the title. The Leo Belgicus is based on the original 1538 Aitsinger form with the lion standing facing right and with his right paw raised on to a shield with the motto, "L'Union Fait La Force". An interesting and practical use of this sought-after cartographical curiosity here, in its most miniature form.
