An attractive chart showing the orbits of Venus and Mercury, according to the hypothoses of Copernicus, with irregularities for the year 1710. The chart was published in Johann Gabriel Doppelmayr's "Atlas Coelestis ..." that was produced in collaboration with Johann Baptist Homann. Doppelmayr
had been a professor of mathematics in Nuremberg, whilst Homann provided the means for publishing his celestial and terrestrial maps. Minor restoration to lower centrefold tear.
