This atlas volume formed the last numbered volume (25) of Nelson's encyclopaedia - a handy pocket-sized reference. The attractive maps bear the imprint of John Bartholomew & Sons in Edinburgh. As well as continent and country maps there are many town plans and environs maps, including places such as Hong Kong and Singapore which are rarely mapped alone. Octavo. pp.xxiv incl. Tp, pp.[xiii] tables, pp.1-360 of lithograph maps with original colour, pp.1-190 index. Maroon buckram boards. Front hinge broken.
