This detailed map is taken from the "Atlas Universal" by Philippe
Vandermaelen. The atlas was published in 378 sheets at a scale of 1:1,641,836. The atlas was the first to show the world at a uniform scale and was the first to be produced by lithography (lithographed by Henri Ode). This particular map sheet shows southern France. Minor marginal tears repaired.
