Three finely-engraved works by Hollar on one sheet: a plan of Chester, with inset map of the county of Cheshire in the lower left-hand corner, and a panorama of the city showing the bridge over the Dee. The main plan is decorated with the arms of the Earls of Chester, the arms of the Barons of the county, and images of Roman antiquities and coins found in the area. A numbered and lettered key to the important buildings appears at the right. Ships and boats on the river complete the busy scene. A reprint of a detailed description of the city.
