A beautifully hand-coloured, detailed plan of Liverpool, with a panoramic view of the River Mersey at the head of the page. Surrounding the plan, vignettes drawn and engraved by H. Winkles portray the Sailor's Home, St Geroge's Hall, ships in the river, and The Custom House. The arms of the city appear in the upper margin. Negligible paper discolouration and tear to centrefold expertly repaired, but a very attractive example.
