A charming and patriotic map, circular, 6cm in diameter and set in a page of text within a simple foliate surround. The page is headed "Oh! Tis A Tight Little Island!" and includes the lyrics to a jolly and politically incorrect song "The Land We Live In". This is attributed to the publisher, and describes the various accomplishments of different countries and their comparison with Britain. The map itself is finely engraved, although the coastlines shown are somewhat vague. The mark of the publisher, John Luffman, appears below the map. An engaging and stirring little item, very scarce.
