An attractive and rare chart of part of the south and west coasts of Ireland including Cork, Kinsale, Limerick and Galway created by Theunisz Jacobsz for publication in his 1644 pilot book "Lichtende Colomne, Ofte Zee Spiegel." This example bears the plate number W 17 and also the attribution "By JacobTheunisz Op't Water Inde Loots-man" and is thus, according to Koeman, a re-issue of the plate in 1666 or later by Caspar and Jacob, Theunisz Jacobsz's sons.
